![]() Remember, Win98SE can not see NTFS so if you want to make a dualboot where let's say the kids can use win98 but not XP and you like to have some HD space your kids can't touch, then make an extra partition and format it with NTFS. ![]() I have never tried using XP, only seen it running, too much eyecandy for my taste luckily it can be turned off I've heard I think XP when starting the installation will ask if you like to upgrade or install somewhere else. I'm sure mouse is at least as good as I am if not better on doing dualboot.Ģ56MB ram is a must because XP love it that way, Win98 doesn't care that much about the last ~96MB of the 256.Īlso as mouse said, first install Win98 then XP. Well, the only dualboot systems I've tried making was NT4Workstation/NT4server and Win2000Pro/Win2000Server.
